True White Horses are hard to find. To be a White Horse the Skin has to be Pink. They usually have a White Parent and come with Hazel or Brown Eyes with White Hair. These are called Dominant Whites. Another way of getting a White Horse is called Sabino White. This can pop up in any bred as long as the Sabino White gene is there. It is like a Pinto Horse that all its spots are White. The Skin is still Pink and the Hair is White. Anything else that appears White but the skin is other than Pink is either a Grey or some other colored Horse. Famous White Horses are hard to find. "Silver" ridden by The Lone Ranger was a true White Horse. They actually found two Whites to make up Silver. Then "Topper" at least one of the Horses was White in Hopalong Cassidy shows. A Race Horse named "Yukichan" was a White Filly who did well In Japan's Kanto Oaks Race in 2008.
