I would also include here Amber. Not all Gemstones are all the same as hardness. A Diamond can handle a lot of abuse while cleaning the house, but a Pearl or an Opal would be destroyed take them off and put them away. Know what you are wearing and how to care for your gems. I have just browsed the surface of Gemstones true and manmade. Whatever you wear have fun with them.
